Radomir Mikic

Radomir approaches every trip with the same mindset he brings to mountain rescue: prepare carefully, stay flexible and never leave safety to chance. An active member of the Mountain Rescue Service of Serbia, he has spent more than two decades climbing, guiding and exploring the mountains of the Balkans, as well as leading expeditions in the Himalayas, the Caucasus and on Mount Elbrus. He knows these landscapes through experience rather than maps, and his mountain-rescue background informs the standards Borova uses to select and vet the local partners who deliver each journey.
